The printer is in the office. The program is on the server. Easy Print usually bridges them. A label printer often does not.
The ordinary printer
Remote Desktop can redirect the printers installed on the PC you are connecting from. In Local Resources, leave Printers ticked. Inside the session you should see your office printer with “(redirected)” in the name. Print a one-page test before a 40-page invoice run. If the test page is blank, the driver on the local PC is the first place to look, not the server.
Labels, receipts, and odd paper
Easy Print is good at A4. It is bad at label stock, dot-matrix pin feeds, and printers that need a vendor driver to set a custom page. For those, install the vendor driver on the server and create a queue that speaks to the printer by IP, if the printer is on a VPN or otherwise reachable. If it is only on the office LAN and the server is not, redirection is still the path, and you may have to accept a PDF and print that locally.
When the list is empty
Check the client option first, then whether the local printer is paused or offline. A session opened from a Mac redirects differently from a session opened from Windows; test the machine people actually use. If nothing redirects, print to PDF on the server and open that PDF on the local PC. It is inelegant and it ships the invoice today.

O Ambiente de Trabalho Remoto pode redirecionar as impressoras instaladas no PC de onde se liga. Em Recursos locais, deixe Impressoras marcado. Dentro da sessão deve ver a impressora do escritório com “(redirecionado)” no nome. Imprima um teste de uma página antes de uma série de 40 faturas. Se a página de teste sair em branco, o controlador no PC local é o primeiro sítio a ver, não o servidor.
Etiquetas, talões e papel estranho
O Easy Print é bom em A4. É mau em etiquetas, em impressoras de agulhas e em impressoras que precisam do controlador do fabricante para um tamanho de página próprio. Para essas, instale o controlador do fabricante no servidor e crie uma fila que fale com a impressora por IP, se a impressora estiver numa VPN ou for alcançável de outra forma. Se estiver só na rede do escritório e o servidor não estiver, o redirecionamento continua a ser o caminho, e pode ter de aceitar um PDF e imprimi-lo localmente.
Quando a lista está vazia
Verifique primeiro a opção no cliente, depois se a impressora local está em pausa ou offline. Uma sessão aberta de um Mac redireciona de forma diferente de uma sessão aberta do Windows; teste a máquina que as pessoas usam de facto. Se nada redirecionar, imprima para PDF no servidor e abra esse PDF no PC local. É pouco elegante e a fatura sai hoje.
